Elpis International | 2026 Ethiopia Mission Trip 🇪🇹

This July, 34 missionaries from the U.S. traveled to Ethiopia with one heart and one mission: to serve, love, and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

We went to Hawassa, Ethiopia, where we held mass feedings for street children, served local widows, held VBS for our Elpis-sponsored kids, provided youth training for our Elpis-sponsored youth, and held a powerful three-day training seminar for our Elpis-sponsored missionaries. We also had the incredible privilege of washing the feet of Elpis-sponsored missionaries who faithfully carry the Gospel in some of the most difficult places!

Everywhere we went, we sought to glorify and magnify Christ!

Please continue to pray for the missionaries serving faithfully in Ethiopia and around the world. Pray that God would strengthen, protect, encourage, and use them mightily as they share the hope of the Gospel!

To God be all the glory!

This is THE week to turn in your child’s backpack for our upcoming trip to Ethiopia!! The Elpis volunteers need to have plenty of time to weigh and pack them up securely. The drop off locations are Mercy Hill Church in Yulee, Florida, Callaway Contracting in Jacksonville, or to any one of our Elpis volunteers. Please remember to put any liquid products in a ziplock bag to prevent spillage and to include your check list of the items you purchased. Any questions please reach out.
