Ortega Presbyterian Church Ortega Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America located in the historic Ortega neighborhood of Jacksonville, Florida.

We’d love for you to join us! Ortega Presbyterian is a diverse group of people bound together by God’s Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ. The good news of God’s Son has and is making us to be a worshiping community in covenant with God and with one another on mission to make disciples of Christ. Our congregation reflects the diversity of peoples in our city but also our unity in the faith once

for all delivered to the saints. Our worship is saturated with Scripture. We seek to read the Word, hear the Word, preach the Word, sing the Word, and see the Word in the sacraments of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We desire that our worship be biblical, Spirit-filled, reverent, joyful, and hospitable to those who join us. We’re currently in the beginning of a new season in the life of our church. Having recently experienced a significant ministry transition in the retirement of one pastor and calling of another, we pray for the continuance of faithful and fruitful ministry in the years to come. Ortega has been a champion for biblical fidelity, zealous for God’s glory, theologically robust, and passionate for souls. These values continue to guide us going forward. As we stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us, we’re anticipating with excitement where the Lord might take us – and we’d love for you to come along!
