Night 1 of VBS is in the books at Cedar Bay Baptist Church. Thankful for every child that came, every conversation that was had, and every volunteer that gave their time to serve tonight.
We’re back tomorrow night from 6:00–8:30 PM for Night 2 of Illumination Station VBS, and we would love for you to join us. There’s still time to invite a friend, bring the kids, and come be part of what God is doing this week.

Tomorrow morning we gather again as a church family to worship King Jesus, open God’s Word, and celebrate His goodness together.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and we had the honor of serving those who give so much every single day.

We were able to provide breakfast for the incredible teachers and staff at San Mateo Elementary School. These men and women pour into the next generation with patience, care, and sacrifice, and it was a joy to simply say thank you.

Cedar Bay is a community church for the community. We love where God has placed us, and we are grateful for opportunities like this to serve, encourage, and support the people who make such a difference.

Let’s continue to pray for our teachers and look for ways to bless them, not just this week, but all year long.

This past Sunday, we walked through Acts 2:42–47 and were reminded of what the church is meant to be.
The church is not a place we go. It’s a people on mission.
We saw that a healthy church is marked by devotion; to the Word, to prayer, to real community, and to living on mission together. Not just attending services, but actually being the church in everyday life.
The same God who moved in Acts 2 is still working today; still saving, still transforming, still building His church.
