"OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE"
(Partial obedience is still disobedience)

(1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.)

This verse simply means that God values genuine obedience to His commands far more than outward religious rituals or sacrifices.

*Our Heart Condition: Outward traditions, church attendance, or monetary offerings mean nothing to God if our heart is rebellious or refusing to follow His commands. (Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?); (Psalms 119:2,11 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.); (Mark 7:21-23 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.); (Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.) And (Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.)

*Partial Obedience is Disobedience: Saul thought he was doing good by keeping the animals for a holy purpose, but altering God's instructions to fit his own preferences was still rebellion. (Isaiah 1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:); (Psalms 119:10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.); (Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?); (John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.) And (James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.)

Remember, submitting to God's instructions is more pleasing to Him than religious performances. Sacrifice now is giving God what we think is best, while obedience is giving God what He actually asks for.✨️

"DON'T EXPECT THE LOST TO ACT SAVED"
(They not like us)

(1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.)

This verse distinguishes two groups, those who are perishing (rejecting God) and those who are saved (accepting God).

*Foolishness to the world: Relying on human logic, status, or secular philosophy, a crucified Savior looks weak, absurd, or pointless. (1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.); (2 Corinthians 4:3,4 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.)

*Power to believers: We (believers), the cross is the ultimate display of God's active, life-transforming power that brings forgiveness and eternal life. (2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.); (Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.)

Remember, (Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.) And display kindness and patience instead of showing disgust or anger but hold them accountable for their actions.✨️

"FUELING OUR FAITH"
(We must increase)

(Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.)

This verse means that spiritual belief/growth does not originate from within ourselves, but is ignited and fueled when we listen to and receive the (preaching/teaching) and studying the written Word of God.

*Study the Bible: Spend time each day reading and thinking about scripture. (2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.)

*Prayer: Talk to God in the morning to center your mind. (Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.)

*Listen to Worship Music: Fill your thoughts with positive and uplifting songs. (Ephesians 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;)

*Remember Past Blessings: Look back at how God helped you through hard times before. (Psalms 77:11,12 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.)

*Connect with Other believers: Avoid isolation. (Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.)

Remember, fueling our faith means taking daily actions to increase our faith. (Colossians 2:6,7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.); (2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.)✨️

"IF YOU KNOW RIGHT, DO RIGHT"

(Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;)

This verse means that God's anger and judgment is against our sins, specifically targeting those who actively suppress or hold back the moral truth they already know about God by choosing to live wickedly anyway.

*Hold the truth in unrighteousness: When we recognize basic truths about God through creation, but ignore that knowledge and to continue sinning without feeling guilty. (Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;); (Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.); (James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.)

Remember, (Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.)✨️

"BY FAITH"
(We 'The Justified' must live by faith)

(Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.)

This verse means the Gospel shows how God makes us "right" with Himself through faith. This "right" standing is received by trust, not our human effort, and sustains our daily life.

*The just shall live by faith: This means a person is justified (declared righteous) by God who's faith is in Jesus Christ. (Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.) ; (2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) ; (Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.) And (Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.)

Remember, faith is not just a single past event, but a continuation in which we (believers) walk while trusting God daily.✨️

"GODLY PRIORITIZING"
(Keep God first, we'll never go lacking)

(Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.)

This verse means that we should make God’s priorities and moral ways our absolute top focus, and HE will faithfully provide our needs.

*Seek Ye First: Make God our main pursuit, putting Him ahead of wealth, fleshly desires and worldly status. (Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.); (Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.); (Matthew 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.); (Matthew 6:31,32 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.)

Remember, (seeking) is an active, ongoing lifestyle choice rather than a one-time checklist item. God promises to supply all our needs when we keep a kingdom focus while remaining righteous as first priority, letting His values guide our daily actions.✨️

"HOPE FOR A DYING WORLD"
(There's Good News)

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:)

These verse's provide a clear depiction of the "gospel" (good news) of Christianity. The virgin birth, death, burial, and physical resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

Brokenness And A Need For Hope: The world experiences pain, fear, sickness, and physical death because of our human sin and separation from God. We search for peace, but worldly answers do not fix the ultimate problem of death. (John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.) And (John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) And (John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.)

Remember, our purpose as believers we are called to tell this good news to everyone around us, bringing light and hope to a hurting society.✨️
