The past several months have been spent in a beautiful season of deep prayer, equipping and discernment on what is best for TwoEight as we approach our official launch. After a fruitful season of rest to prepare, TwoEight’s leaders, Samantha and I were able to spend an incredible week together on mission in Portland Maine, and felt led to move into the next step of boldness with TwoEight.

We are now in a very exciting planning stage as we prepare for the launch of Small groups, Our first Mission trip and our very first workshop! We are so excited to see how God moves in this time as we fast and prepare as a church for the saturated season, and as we prepare to go on mission again next month (we are both going to Panama in September and Samantha is going to India shortly after!) please be in prayer with us as we move toward this exciting season as a ministry, and as disciples! ❤️❤️ stay tuned for dates and more info as we move closer (tentatively this fall/winter)

Comparison kills, I remember the many times I’ve wondered how I can have a part of the great commission, how God could ever use me, why He would want me when so many are more qualified. The many times I wondered “who am I that I would be given such an honor”

I’m just a girl who loves Jesus and knows the powerful ways God can change a life.

I’m just someone who is standing here telling you I’ve known the deepest pits of heartbreak and pain, and I’ve seen what can happen through faith.

Faith isn’t easy, but how could I not believe after He has shown me time and time again.

God can make beauty from brokenness and symphonies from scars and He holds me deeply.

I’m just a girl who wants you to know how it feels to be held.

Who am I? A child of God.

The next question, where are we located!

TwoEight in a local ministry in Jacksonville FL, that also has global options via online resources!

Although our physical meet ups and classes are here in Jacksonville we hope to offer online classes and opportunities as well, and would love to travel and teach other places as well!

We are so excited to launch! We will be starting with a Womens study (likely this spring, so keep an eye out!) on leader...

We are so excited to launch!

We will be starting with a Womens study (likely this spring, so keep an eye out!) on leadership!

And will be following up soon after with our first workshop, “created, called, commissioned”

We also have a few book studies in the works!

Good morning! Our first common question is when did the idea of TwoEight come to light, and when did we start launching this ministry.

The idea of TwoEight is something I have had for years, but it wasn’t until summer of last year that that dream was given a breath of life and started taking off!

I did a 2 month period of praying and fasting to prepare and dig into what this ministry would be.

After that period of time, I decided on our name (during a church service on the topic) and our mission and vision.

We started launching TwoEight during the fall of last year, about 5 months ago!

Our 7th core value is that We partner with the Local Church!

Part of our goal while making disciples to grow the Global Church is to partner with the Local churches in our city!
This looks like serving the church, training disciples to lead in local churches and partnerships with local churches around Jacksonville.
