God’s Unseen Protection
Pastor E. C. Gregory
Scripture Lesson: Isaiah 57:1–2

What a powerful and comforting message delivered today by Pastor E. C. Gregory: “God’s Unseen Protection.”

When we experience the unexpected death of someone we love, our human eyes often see only the tragedy, pain, and loss. But Pastor Gregory reminded us that God sees what we cannot see.
As believers, we have hope beyond what is visible. Although we grieve, we do not have to grieve as those who have no hope. Even in moments we do not understand, God is still present, God is still sovereign, and God is still protecting His people.

Key Points to Remember:
1. God’s people sometimes die young.
The godly may leave this earthly life sooner than we expect. We may not understand the timing, but God knows what lies ahead and sees what we cannot.

2. God’s Protection
Whatever God allows or does for His children is ultimately under His divine care and protection. Sometimes what appears to us as an untimely departure may be God’s unseen protection from things yet to come.

3. God’s people will rest in peace.
Isaiah reminds us that those who walk uprightly enter into peace and find rest. There is a promised rest for the people of God. Hebrews 4:2

Today’s message encouraged us to trust God even when we cannot understand His plan. Our faith reminds us that death does not have the final word—God does.

May we continue to cherish our loved ones, treasure the moments God gives us, and find comfort in knowing that His protection reaches beyond what our natural eyes can see.

Powerful Message from Pastor E. C. Gregory

Message Title: Living the New Life
Scripture Lesson: Colossians 3:1–12

Pastor E. C. Gregory reminded us that when we accept Christ, we are called to live differently because we have been made new. Our old sinful ways no longer define us. Because we have been raised with Christ, our hearts and minds should be focused on things above, and our daily lives should reflect our new identity in Him.

Living the new life means putting away the attitudes and behaviors of our old nature and clothing ourselves with the character of Christ—compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Key Points to Remember
1. You have died to your sinful nature.
The old life no longer has authority over you. We are called to put away sinful habits and anything that does not reflect Christ.

2. You have been raised to new life.
Through Christ, we have been given a fresh beginning. Our thoughts, choices, and actions should now be centered on Him.

3. You have been given a new nature.
God is continually renewing us so that our lives increasingly reflect the image and character of Christ.

Remember: When Christ gives you a new life, He calls you to live like you’ve been made new!
