“Don’t Faint In the Waiting Room”

Scripture Lesson: Psalm 27

Today, Rev. Alvin Brown delivered a powerful and inspirational message reminding us that although nobody likes being in the waiting room — a place filled with uncertainty — God is still working behind the scenes.

Key points to remember:

1. The waiting room will drain you. • Sometimes the enemy wants you to faint. • Sometimes waiting on God will wear you out. • Sometimes waiting becomes tiresome.

2. Faith keeps you from collapsing. • David said, “I would have fainted…” • Faith is not pretending life does not hurt.

3. Waiting requires courage. • Remain faithful in prayer. • Stay obedient while God is working behind the scenes. • Waiting takes courage. • Stand on the Word of God.

4. God strengthens us while waiting. • Some of us are stronger now because of what we survived.

5.If anybody knows about the waiting room, it’s JESUS. • The Cross. • Calvary. • The beating He endured for us all.

What an encouraging reminder to trust God even while we wait.
