He Lives; Christ Jesus Lives today. The belief that Jesus Christ of Nazareth rose from the dead and exists today is a cornerstone of the Christian faith. The hymn writer famously expressed this belief by stating that Jesus "walks with me and talks with me along life’s narrow way." The Apostle Paul, in 1 Corinthians 15, emphasized the importance of the resurrection by noting that Jesus appeared to many witnesses, underscoring its authenticity. Among the many witnesses who saw Jesus included significant figures such as Apostle Peter, James the brother of Jesus, John, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, Salome, Cleopas and his companion, and the other members of the Eleven. Paul mentioned that over 500 people witnessed the resurrected Jesus at one time, underscoring the widespread nature of these testimonies. Appearances of Jesus after his resurrection were reported in various locations such as the empty tomb, the road to Emmaus, and gatherings in Jerusalem and Galilee.

Early Christian writers, some of whom received teachings directly from the original Apostles, consistently testified about Jesus’s profound impact as a teacher, his miraculous deeds, his crucifixion under Pontius Pilate, and their unwavering belief in his resurrection from the dead.

Remarkably, many non-Christian sources from the era also reference Jesus and his followers. Jewish historian Josephus, in his work "Antiquities of the Jews," provides an account of Jesus. Roman historians such as Tacitus in his "Annals," Pliny the Younger in his correspondence with Emperor Trajan, and Suetonius in "Lives of the Twelve Caesars," also mention Jesus or early Christians. Additionally, Lucian of Samosata, the Greek satirist, commented on Christians and their beliefs, while the Talmud, a collection of Jewish texts, makes mention of Jesus and early Christianity. These accounts underscore the historical impact of Jesus and the belief in His resurrection. HE LIVES; CHRIST JESUS LIVES TODAY!! A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM IS THE KEY.

The importance of God's word is immeasurable in guiding individuals toward a life of true repentance and transformation. Repentance, understood in the Hebrew context as a "turn," signifies a profound change in mindset concerning Jesus Christ. This alteration in perception initiates a transformation of the heart that subsequently redirects one's life path. When we genuinely repent and turn, our motivations are no longer driven by fear, doubts, emotions, or societal influences. Instead, we align our lives with a higher calling, one that is not swayed by external pressures that often lead to dilemmas and dead ends.

By choosing to live not for ourselves but for Christ, who sacrificed Himself on the cross and overcame death through resurrection, we embrace a deeper purpose. This commitment requires us to understand that the "love of Christ" is a tangible and transformative force, not merely a nebulous concept. This love compels us to act with compassion, integrity, and dedication, reflecting the teachings and example of Jesus in our daily lives. The journey of turning away from past inclinations and towards a life enriched by God's word cultivates spiritual growth and enriches our existence in a profoundly meaningful way.

The Last Supper, one of the most significant events in Christian theology, was the final meal that Jesus Christ shared with his twelve apostles before his crucifixion. This event is richly detailed in the canonical gospels of the New Testament, especially in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. It is commemorated by Christians around the world, especially during the Holy Week leading up to Easter.

During the Last Supper, which took place in Jerusalem in an upper room, Jesus instituted the Eucharist, a rite that would become central in Christian worship. He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying it represented his body. Similarly, he took a cup of wine, gave it to them, and said it represented his blood, which would be shed for the forgiveness of sins. This act became the foundation for the Christian sacrament of Communion. During the meal, Jesus demonstrated humility and service by washing the feet of his disciples, which was traditionally the role of a servant. He urged them to love one another as he loved them.

The Last Supper, therefore, was not merely a significant religious gathering but a pivotal moment that set in motion the final acts of Jesus' earthly ministry. It highlighted themes of sacrifice, betrayal, service, and love, elements embedded deeply in Christian doctrine and devotion.
