🍦🎉 A sweet new business is serving our community! Congratulations to Demetrius Burrows and the entire Duval 2 Scoops team on their grand opening!

Mayor Donna Deegan joined state and local officials, community leaders and supporters for the official ribbon-cutting celebration. Pastor Terry Brown had the honor of blessing the new business as it begins making a positive impact in the Moncrief community. 🙏🏾

Students can receive a FREE ice cream by bringing in a report card showing A or B Honor Roll! 📚🍨 Duval 2 Scoops is also honoring local history by naming a flavor after Johnnie Mae Chappell—a mother of ten whose tragic death in 1964 made her a symbol of Jacksonville’s fight for civil rights.

Located right next to our St. Thomas Family Life Center, we encourage our church family and community to stop by, celebrate and support this community-focused business!

🎉 Congratulations to everyone who completed our Summer Sunday School Teacher’s Course! We wrapped up this wonderful journey on Sunday with an uplifting prayer breakfast and the presentation of completion certificates. We celebrate your dedication and commitment to teaching God’s Word! 🙏🏾📖🏆
