I want to once again say thank you for all of the beautiful cards and we’ll wishes for me and Debbie as I begin my season of retirement. I have been blessed to have served for 37 years and I know God is not finished with me yet. I will be praying for you as you continue to serve together in Garden City. God has blessed me to have been your pastor these last four years of my life. It has been challenging but in it all we are all stronger. Be blessed Garden City!

God holds out his hand for all and yet many of us are so obstinate that we don’t make the effort to extend our hand to take God’s.

This image: Michelangelo's Creation of Adam, speaks volumes to me. It shows me how much God stretches out while humankind casually lounges around not making the effort to connect with God.

I pray that you will take time to pray with God and ask God to give you the strength and determination to extend your reach and take the hand of God in yours.
