The only bird that dares to peck an eagle is the crow. He sits on his back and bites his neck. The eagle does not respond, nor fight with the crow; it does not spend time or energy on the crow. It just opens its wings and begins to rise higher in the heavens. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the crow to breathe and then the crow falls due to lack of oxygen.

Learn from the eagle and don't fight the crows. Just keep ascending. They might be along for the ride but they'll fall off.

"But those who wait for the Lord will have new strength; they will lift wings like eagles. (Isaiah 40:31)

God has given you all power and authority to overcome every obstacle you may face in life! That means you are well able to do what God has called you to do. You can accomplish your goals. You have the ideas, the creativity, and the talent to be successful. You have been armed with strength for every battle! God has already lined up the right people to come across your path. He´s already lined up the right opportunities. You have everything you need to live a victorious life. Not an average life, not a barely-get-by, mediocre life-you were created to excel. You have seeds of greatness on the inside. You may not have seen it in the past, but if you´ll stay in faith, it´s just a matter of time-victory is on the way. Don´t settle where you are. Rise up in faith today and begin to declare, "I will accomplish my dreams. I can overcome any obstacle. I´ve been equipped and empowered to live in victory in every area of my life."

Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for the power to overcome every obstacle I may face. Help me to see myself the way You see me. Help me to embrace the victory You have in store for me today. In Jesus´ Name. Amen.

I just wanted to say to our family and friends of The Hangout...
Happy Easter and we love each and everyone of you.

Just recently after the President’s news conference was over, one of the reporters on location made the observation that for the first time in our nation’s history we won’t be celebrating Easter. Well let me tell you one thing, he’s dead wrong. We might not celebrate what Easter has become in that there may be no new clothes bought for that Sunday. We might not hide and hunt eggs in mass quantities. We may not travel home to attend church with our family. We might not see some folks at our worship services that we haven’t seen since Christmas, but we’re going to Celebrate Easter. As a matter of fact, every Sunday is Easter Sunday. Every time we assemble for worship we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pilate couldn’t kill Him and the grave couldn’t hold Him. You think the Coronavirus is going to stop Easter. More people this year will hear the gospel than any other Easter before.

Easter is not just about special programs, although we will still have them at our church. It’s not about the trumpet call or the mass crowds. It’s the fact that we serve a living Savior who is still transforming lives today. Easter is not only about His resurrection, but our ability to rise with Him. Easter is about the hope of tomorrow and the gift of everlasting life. Yes indeed, we will celebrate. We’ll celebrate what God did for all of us at Calvary. How? By remembering Him. By loving Him. By worshipping Him. By praising Him. Easter for us is everyday. Let the celebration begin. Sing with me:

I'd like to challenge all of our youth-preteens, teenagers and adults who were ever part of the hangout to be in prayer. If you sat foot in the hangout you have seen the power of prayer, you've seen God move...you probably have your own stories of how God has shown up and shown out.

Please be in prayer not just for your family, your community bit for our nation and our precious world.

We know the Bible is full of truths and it is our owners manual. It speaks of times like these and it tells us to be in prayer and to have faith in God almighty. He moves mountains, he breaks chains, he fills needs and takes care of his children.

God bless each and every one of you who read this individually we can help and together we can leave a mark on our planet that will forever be impacted.

Hey everyone, happy Friday !! I know several of you gave called, We are having some set backs on the repairs at the Hangout for Teens building. Unfortunately it is looking like it may be early April before we can reopen. We are so sorry for this inconvenience but can’t wait to see you all then! We will keep you all posted on the progress !
