Today in Selmer, TN our youth had an incredible opportunity to serve at Jesus Cares Ministry! 💙

They helped:
👟 Sort clothes and shoes
🪑 Stock shelves and clean furniture for resale
📦 Unload donations from vehicles

This moment was powerful because, for the past three weeks, we’ve been preparing to no longer be bystanders—to step in and serve like Jesus.

Jesus Cares of McNairy County is more than a thrift store—this ministry houses the homeless, feeds families, and provides affordable clothing and furniture to the community.

A big thanks to Mrs. Mary Jo for hosting us today! 🙌🏾

Week 2 of No Bystanders hit hard. 💥

We talked about what it means to really See the City — to look at our neighborhoods, schools, and streets with Jesus’ eyes.
Students were challenged to stop ignoring the need around them and start showing up with compassion and boldness. 🫶🏽🧡

This week we’re getting practical. How do we move from ideas to action? How do we let go of fear and say yes to serving? Let’s stop waiting for the perfect moment — and just move. 👣

We talked about what it means to GO — to live on mission right where you are.

🔜 COMING UP THIS WEEK:

Week 2 – “See the City”
Jesus saw people others overlooked — the broken, the poor, the lonely. He moved toward them with love and purpose.

This week we’ll learn:

👀 How to open our spiritual eyes
🌆 Why our mission starts with compassion
🙌 That God is already working — we just have to notice

Today, Revive will not meet separately — we’re joining our families in service to celebrate and honor the amazing dads, grandfathers, father figures, and mentors in our lives.

🪵✨That’s a Wrap! — “On the Fence” Series Finale ✨🪵

Over the past few weeks, we’ve talked about choosing faith over fear, finding our identity in Christ, and making the bold move off the fence.

Last Sunday, we wrapped it up with a powerful hands-on moment 🙌🏾 — each student decorated a wooden fence piece to represent their decision to fully follow Jesus. 🎨✝️

Whether it was a word, a verse, or a symbol of commitment, these pieces are a reminder:
You can’t stay on the fence forever. God calls us to stand for Him.

🔥 You have a story.
🙌 You have a testimony.
✝️ You’ve made a choice.

Week 3: Following Jesus Takes Courage

“Then Jesus said, Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.” — Luke 9:23

This week we talked about what it really means to follow Jesus—and how fear can try to hold us back. But God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear! (2 Timothy 1:7)
He calls us to be strong, bold, and courageous.

Takeaway:
Fear doesn’t get to decide your future—faith does. Jesus is worth it, even when it’s hard.

Challenge:
How can you live courageously for Christ this week? Start by showing up, standing firm, and speaking truth in love.
