This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time.
1Timothy 2:3-6

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Romans 5:5

I know the following is a few minutes to read but how important is your life and eternity? Isn't it worth way more than a few minutes? If you ignore this important decision your eternal life is at stake.

What is the gospel? It is the Good News of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. Realize that you were born into sin but our Holy God has made a provision for you to be forgiven. He sent His Son who was fully God and fully man who lived a sinless life to die on the cross while taking on the sins of all humanity past, present and future. He then defeated death and was resurrected and returned to His disciples and over 500 witnesses saw Jesus after His death and resurrection. After 40 days He ascended to Heaven and this too was witnessed. His disciples started His church and began to spread the teachings and life of Jesus. They were eye witnesses to it all!
If you admit that you are a sinner(remember even a bad thought is a sin) and know you can't save yourself by doing good works but only by faith in believing that God exists in three persons as God the Father,God the Son and the Holy Spirit and that Jesus died for you and your sins are forgiven by His sacrifice on the cross. If you repent(desire to turn away from sin), accept and believe that Jesus is God and took the penalty for your sin on that cross, believe that He was resurrected and now sits at the right hand of the Father and does intercession for those who believe, you will be saved from the wrath and judgement to come to those who refuse to believe that Jesus was God here on Earth. Those that don't believe are judged and sent to Hell.
You have to believe in God and that Jesus is God to be saved. Will you still sin? Yes! However, you turn from sin. You don't continue in the practice of sin. Your reaction to sin will be different. Throughout your life, the Holy Spirit who comes to you after your profession of faith, will guide you and convict you of sin causing you to want to seek forgiveness of that sin. Will you lose your salvation if you sin after professing your belief? No!
God does not break His promise. You can lose heavenly rewards if you continue in a pattern of sin but not your salvation. You will still be Heaven bound!
Let the word of God convict you by scripture. Try reading the gospel written in the book of John in the Bible and see if God convicts you. The Bible tells us in
Matthew 7:7-8:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
God through His creation has put the knowledge of Him in us and if we seek we can find out more. In the Bible an Ethiopian Enuch was seeking and the Disciple Phillip was sent by God's Providence and helped him to understand.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16

I pray you will read the scriptures listed here today and think about their meaning. God will hear a sinner's prayer for forgiveness. He then will help you understand scripture. I pray you ask for and receive God's free gift of salvation.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. Jonn 15:13

Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good.

And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

2Timothy 4:18
And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen!

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
3 John 11

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.
