We Are One United Methodist Church was the site for the food pantry community service site and the line was literally flowing outside of the church and down McDowell Road. Members and volunteers at We Are One took information from those in line and gave them pantry staples as they drove through.

Saturday began at Anderson United Methodist Church with worship, prayer and a powerful message on fulfilling the Great Commission through serving others titled, "The Dangling 'C.'" This message shared that sometimes, we--the church--slack off from the work of the Great Commission, focus less on reaching out to others so then we participate in the Great 'Omission' as we fall short of mark that Jesus Christ set for us--"The Dangling 'C.'"
