May 29 - Join us tonight at 6pm to learn more.
Shavuot (Exodus 19:1–20:23; Book of Ruth)
On Shavuot, we stand again at Sinai, hearing the call of Torah as if for the first time. Revelation is not only a moment in history—it is an ongoing invitation to listen deeply and live thoughtfully. As we read the Book of Ruth, we also celebrate loyalty, courage, and the power of chosen belonging. May this festival renew our love of learning and our commitment to one another.

Parashat Bamidbar (Numbers 1:1–4:20)
The Book of Numbers begins in the wilderness—a place of uncertainty and transformation. Each person is counted, seen, and assigned purpose within the community. Bamidbar reminds us that even in life’s in-between spaces, we matter and we belong. As we prepare for Shavuot, we reflect on the journey that shapes us into a people of covenant.

🌾 On Shavuot we celebrate revelation, learning, and the giving of Torah. May we continue seeking wisdom with open hearts. Chag Sameach!

Shavuot The festival of Shavuot (or Shavuos, in Ashkenazi usage; Shabhuʿoth in Classical and Mizrahi Hebrew Hebrew: שבועות, lit. “Weeks”) is a Jewish holiday that occurs on the sixth day of the Hebrew month of Sivan (late May or early June). Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day G-d gave the Torah to the entire Israelite nation assembled at Mount Sinai, although the association between the giving of the Torah (Matan Torah) and Shavuot is not explicit in the Biblical text. The holiday is one of the Shalosh Regalim, the three Biblical pilgrimage festivals. It marks the conclusion of the Counting of the Omer.
