Beginning with Agape's establishment in 2002, and continuing until the present day, God has done amazing things for use, and we are filled with joy because of His grace and mercy. On the first Sunday in November 2002, the Agape Christian held its very first worship Service at its first gathering pla

ce, Union University, Penick Academic Complex, Jackson, TN. This worship service was the answer to the prayers of a group of born-again believers who sought the Lord's guidance about planting a Christ-centered church that would provide an "all nations, all tribes, all peoples, all tongues" worship experience on the more northern section of Jackson, TN. God's Holy Spirit manifested His presence in mighty way in that first service, and the Lords has continued to lead us ever since. Along the journey, we have ministered to the sick, the hurting, and the incarcerated. We've feed the hungry, visited with the lonely and comforted the grieving. We have supported mission work locally and world-wide. We have lifted our voices in regular fervent prayer at regularly scheduled church-wide prayer meetings. We have tithed, and beyond the tithe, we have given sacrificially. We have tried to earn a reputation as an encouraging and praying Church that is open to all who wold seek to know HIM.
