River Hill Baptist Church and River Hill Lighthouse Ministry Our motto is simple...Loving God and loving people. We're an organization whose purpose is to feed and clothe local needy children.

We provide bags of weekend food to teacher-identified kids in need. And we buy jackets every winter for them. All for the Savior and His glory.

School is back in session and teachers have submitted to our Lighthouse Ministry the number of students needing weekend food. There are almost 100.

Each weekend during school months, we send 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 suppers, and 2 snacks in these students’ backpacks every Friday. It costs apx $15 per month per child and is not currently completely funded.

It’s the time of year we purchase winter jackets for our local children in need.

The total number of jackets needed, given to us by teachers, is 59. We have received some contributions toward jackets, which we appreciate so much, but we are still short, and need to place the order by Wednesday.

As you all know, our weather has turned cold! And it’s time for us to purchase jackets for our area children in need.

We hope to place the order for jackets by Nov. 9 so we can have them before Thanksgiving vacation. They are $22 each and we must buy 77 (numbers furnished by teachers).
