Northside Church, you did it.

Our Raise the Roof VII Mission Focus goal of $14,010 has officially been surpassed, with a current total of $15,817.05 given toward the dormitory project in Gamasara, Tanzania.

What an incredible testimony to God’s provision and the generosity of His people.

This dormitory will house 64 girls, helping the school maintain accreditation while also providing safety, stability, and opportunity for young girls who are vulnerable to arranged marriages at very young ages. Because of your giving, these students will have a place to learn, grow, and dream about the future God has for them.

Additional gifts received through this Sunday, May 31, will help furnish the dormitory, maintain the building, and construct two water harvesting tanks to provide much-needed water access in the area.

Thank you, Northside, for continuing to love and support our Gamasara family so faithfully. We praise God for what He is doing through this partnership.

As we wrapped up our journey through Joshua, one powerful truth emerged: God is still looking for people who will choose Him. Not just once, but every single day. Joshua's secret wasn't perfection; it was his daily choice to trust and obey. He chose and chose and chose again, and God honored those choices in extraordinary ways.

The God of Joshua still lives. He's still on His throne, still working in power, still ready to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. The question is: Where are the Joshua's today? What might God do in our generation if we lived with that same wholehearted devotion - not just on Sunday mornings, but in every area of our lives?

"Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)

Northside Youth has officially taken over the building this week as they rehearse for the musical, and we can’t wait for you to see what they’ve been working on.

Because many of the Sunday School rooms are being transformed into rehearsal spaces, we’ll be pressing pause on Sunday School this Sunday morning. Instead, come grab a donut in the lobby, meet the cast, and celebrate the students who have been pouring their hearts into this production all week long.

There’s something special about watching the next generation use their gifts to glorify Jesus. We’d love for you to encourage them this Sunday!

Northside, we are so grateful for you. ❤

Because of your generosity and willingness to serve, over 1,700 meals were provided and more than 2,000 hours were given to our community. That’s not just numbers—that’s people being loved, seen, and cared for.

We’ve been blessed to serve alongside ARM and Room in the Inn, building relationships, praying together, and making a real difference.

It’s easy to skim past Joshua 13–21 and just see a bunch of land divisions and tribal boundaries. But buried in all those details is a beautiful reminder: God cares personally for His people.

Every tribe mattered. Every family mattered. Every inheritance was intentional.

God didn’t just make a promise to Israel as a nation, He cared about the specific people who made it up. Joshua. Caleb. Every clan. Every person... And He still does the same for us now.

The details of your life are not lost on God. The things that feel small to everyone else still matter to Him.

At Northside, we’ve been talking about what it looks like to trust God when we can’t see the whole road ahead.

So many of us want a fully lit highway: clear direction, long-term plans, and certainty about what’s next.

But more often than not… God gives us a flashlight. 🔦
Just enough light for the next step.

It can feel frustrating. We want clarity. We want answers. We want the full picture.

But what if there’s purpose in the “just enough”?

✨ The small steps are preparing us for what’s ahead
✨ They protect us from going too far off course
✨ And they keep our eyes on Jesus, not just the destination

We believe Northside is in a “flashlight season”, and we know many of you are too.
