It's a special day for us. We're officially 187 years old today. Our church's birthday was on this day, January 27, 1839...

It's a special day for us. We're officially 187 years old today. Our church's birthday was on this day, January 27, 1839, when 17 individuals, under the guidance of Rev. David Hendee (pictured below) formed our church. We met in a few locations before our present location, but one of those locations is pictured in a newspaper clip attached showing our site that would eventually become the Citizen Patriot building before becoming the Albert Kahn apartments.

We're grateful to be a part of this 187 year old story of what God can do in Jackson through a few faithful who gather together.

September is our last month to host Jackson Personal Care Ministry at our site. We want to celebrate their 14 years here of providing hygiene supplies for our neighbors!

Starting October, they will be meeting on Thursdays from 5-6:30 at St. John's UCC / Partnership Place on 801 S. Mechanic St.

Sunday we celebrated our amazing Administrative Assistant, Sue! She is starting a new chapter this week working with our neighbor, St. Paul's Episcopal Church! We want to celebrate her great work and bless her in her new role as well. You'll still see her around the office, but her hours will vary in the months ahead. Thank you, Sue, for all you do!
