Living Word Child Development Center is hiring a float teacher for our Infant and Toddler Programs - specifically infant through two year olds. Full time (4 ten hour days). Start time is flexible between 6:30 am and 7:30 am.
Living Word Child Development Center services children from 6 weeks to 10 years and is dedicated to building a Christian foundation for families with young children to grow in their faith, knowledge and individuality.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children while they learn and grow.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and their families.
Create and carry out daily lesson plans.
Manage all classroom activities including play, lessons, lunch, snack and recess.
Facilitate activities for children during the day including circle time, games, songs, arts and crafts, story time and Jesus time.
Maintain an organized and clean classroom adhering to all cleaning and sanitation procedures and guidelines.
Infant and Toddler experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least their Introduction to the Childcare Profession course completed.
Must have or obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days.
This position pays $15-$17 per hour; pay is based upon education and experience.
Living Word Child Development Center operates Mon-Fri from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

🌿💚 Rainforest Falls VBS – Thank You! 💚🌿

What an incredible week at Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School!

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers who generously shared their time, talents, and love for Christ. From teaching Bible lessons and leading songs to preparing snacks, organizing crafts and games, decorating, and helping behind the scenes, you made this week possible. Your servant hearts reflected God's love in so many ways.

Throughout the week our students learned that God is our Creator, God is our Safe Place, God is Love, and God is Faithful. Our prayer is that these truths continue to encourage and strengthen each child long after VBS has ended.

Thank you for making our Rainforest Falls VBS such a wonderful week. Join us in celebrating this Sunday during worship at 9:00am! 💚🌿

Today we celebrated with our final day of Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School!

Today we learned that God is faithful. No matter what changes in our lives, God never changes. He always keeps His promises, cares for His children, and is with us every step of the way.

Throughout the week, our students have discovered God's amazing love through His Word, and today they were reminded that they can trust Him every day because God is always faithful.

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations."
— Deuteronomy 7:9

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Rainforest Falls VBS! We had a fantastic week learning, singing, laughing, and growing together in God's Word. We pray that our students leave knowing they are deeply loved by God and can always trust His faithfulness. 🌿💚

Today in VBS at Rainforest Falls, we discovered the greatest truth of all: God is love!

Through the story of Jesus' death and resurrection, our students learned how much God loves us. Jesus loved us so much that He died on the cross to forgive our sins. But the story didn't end there! Three days later, Jesus came back to life, showing that He is stronger than sin and death. Because of Him, everyone who believes in Jesus has the promise of eternal life! What an incredible gift of love!

From singing joyful songs and creating crafts to playing games and learning God's Word, our students were reminded throughout the day that God's love never ends. Thank you to everyone who continues to make VBS such a wonderful week. We can't wait to see what God has in store for our final day tomorrow! 💚🌊

Day 2 of Rainforest Falls was filled with fun, laughter, and another reminder of God's amazing love!

Today we learned that God is our safe place. No matter what challenges or fears we face, God is always with us. He is our refuge, our strength, and the One we can always trust.

It was a joy to see our students singing with enthusiasm, diving into God's Word, and encouraging one another throughout the day. We thank God for another wonderful day of VBS and look forward to all that He has in store for us tomorrow!

What a wonderful start to Vacation Bible School!

Today in Rainforest Falls, we discovered that God is our Creator. Through the story of Creation in Genesis, we learned that God spoke the world into existence and that everything He made is good—including each one of us!

Please be advised of road construction on Eagle Drive and the roundabout this week.

On Wednesday, July 15th Stark will mill the pavement on Living Word Lane and Eagle Drive north of Main Street. (see blue area below). Traffic will be reduced to single lane access with flagging.
On Thursday, July 16th Stark will lay new asphalt, and traffic will again be reduced to single lane access with flagging. If needed, paving the road may extend to Friday, July 17th.

It was a true blessing to host students from Living Word Lutheran High School during their service day last week, where they dedicated their time to cleaning up our church and revitalizing the playground area of our child center. Our heartfelt thanks to them!
