Ready or Not, Here Comes Change

Life has a way of moving us forward whether we feel prepared or not. Just like a child's game of hide-and-seek, change announces itself with "Ready or not, here I come." We often find ourselves clinging to familiar chapters, the comfortable job, the predictable routine, the safe relationships. But God operates on a different timeline than our comfort zones. He sees the bigger picture while we focus on our current circumstances. Every ending is actually a beginning in disguise. When one door closes, God isn't punishing you, He's positioning you. The chapter that's ending served its purpose, but staying there too long will limit what God wants to do next. Change isn't your enemy, it's your invitation to growth. Instead of resisting the transitions in your life, consider that God might be preparing you for something greater than you can imagine.

đź“–Bible Verse
“Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.” Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬

🗣️Quote of the Day
“Ready or not, here I come.”
The next chapter isn’t waiting on your comfort, it’s moving according to His plan.

đź’Reflection Question
What chapter in your life are you holding onto that might be preventing you from stepping into God's next season for you?

Today, we celebrated the Graduating Class of 2026 for their hard work, dedication, and achievements at our Baccalaureate Ceremony.

We are incredibly proud of all their accomplishments and hard work and we pray that they move forward with confidence, courage, and determination as they begin their next chapter.

Congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients, we can’t wait to see what you accomplished next.

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Dr. Roderick Davis, whose words of encouragement inspired and motivated our graduates as they prepare to pursue their goals and dreams.

Thank you to the families, educators, mentors, and supporters who helped make this milestone possible.

Nothing Is Wasted

Every tear you've cried, every mistake you've made, every year that felt wasted - none of it is truly lost in God's economy. He is the master of redemption, able to take the broken pieces of our lives and create something beautiful from them. You might look back at certain seasons with regret, thinking about all the time you 'wasted' or all the wrong turns you took. But God sees those experiences differently. He sees preparation. He sees character development. He sees lessons learned that will serve you in the future. What feels like falling apart may actually be God spreading purpose through your life. The pain you've endured has given you compassion for others in similar situations. The failures you've experienced have taught you humility and dependence on God. The long seasons of waiting have developed patience and faith. Nothing has been wasted, it's all been preparation for what's coming next. Instead of dwelling on what you think you've lost, start looking for what you've gained. God is always working to redeem your time and transform your pain into purpose. Your story isn't over, it's just getting to the good part.

đź“–Bible Verse
“Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.” Acts 8:4

🗣️Quote of the Day
Everything that you've been through, everything you're going through, all the tears, all the pain, the misunderstanding, it's not wasted.

How has God used a painful or difficult experience from your past to prepare you for something good in your present or future?

Today, our Outreach Ministry served lunch at Stewpot Community Services.

We showed the love of Christ through a warm meal, kind hearts, and big smiles.
Moments like these remind us of the importance of extending compassion to those around us.

We are grateful for every opportunity to serve our community and be a blessing to others.

When Plans Fail, Purpose Emerges

Sometimes your carefully crafted plans have to crumble for you to discover God's greater purpose for your life. What feels like failure might actually be redirection. What looks like a dead end might be a divine detour leading you exactly where you need to be. Many of us cling so tightly to our own plans that we miss God's better plans. We get so focused on making our dreams work that we can't see the dream He's trying to birth in us. Sometimes He has to allow our plans to fall apart so we'll finally look up and see what He's been trying to show us all along. Those failed business ventures, those relationships that didn't work out, those opportunities that slipped away - what if they weren't failures at all? What if they were God's way of clearing the path for something better? What if He was protecting you from settling for good when He had great in mind? God is always working, even when it doesn't feel like it. He can take every detour, every disappointment, every 'failed' plan and weave it into a beautiful tapestry of purpose. Trust His process, even when you can't see the pattern yet.

đź“–Bible Verse
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19

🗣️Quote of the Day
Some people don’t discover purpose until their plans fail. Sometimes things have to fall apart so God’s purpose can become clear.

đź’Reflection Question
Looking back, can you see how a “failed” plan in your life actually led you to something better or taught you something valuable?
