YOUR OBEDIENCE OPENS THE DOOR

Proverbs 3:9–10 (KJV)
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.”

This Word is for the HEARER AND THE DOER!

It is one thing to HEAR what God says.

It is another thing to DO what God says!

James 1:22 (KJV)
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only…”

Proverbs 3:9 says:

HONOUR THE LORD…”

That means my obedience should reach beyond my mouth. I honor God with my life, my decisions, my resources, and my increase.

MALACHI 3:10–12 — OBEDIENCE HAS A PROMISE

Malachi 3:10 (KJV)
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house…”

God connects the command with a promise:

“…if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

But God doesn't stop there!

Malachi 3:11 (KJV)
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground…”

Malachi 3:12 (KJV)
“And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.”

🔥 LOOK AT WHAT GOD CONNECTS TO OBEDIENCE!

Verse 10 — God says, “I WILL OPEN!”

Verse 11 — God says, “I WILL REBUKE!”

Verse 12 — God says, “YOU WILL BE CALLED BLESSED!”

There is an OPENING.

There is PROTECTION.

There is a BLESSING.

DON’T JUST SHOUT ABOUT THE PROMISE—OBEY THE INSTRUCTION!

I don't just hear what God says about giving—I obey it.

I don't just quote the Scripture—I practice it.

I don't just celebrate the promise—I follow the instruction connected to the promise.

Proverbs 3:9 gives the instruction: HONOR GOD.

Proverbs 3:10 gives the promise: PLENTY.

Malachi 3:10 says: GOD WILL OPEN.

Malachi 3:11 says: GOD WILL REBUKE.

Malachi 3:12 says: YOU WILL BE CALLED BLESSED.

🔥 I'M NOT JUST A HEARER—I'M A DOER!

🔥 HEAR THE WORD!

🔥 OBEY THE WORD!

🔥 HONOR GOD!

🔥 TRUST GOD WITH THE RESULTS!

“He will OPEN, He will REBUKE, and you will be CALLED BLESSED!”
