we honor the roots of pride month: an observation of the power that emanates from the margins of society, the importance of God’s beloved children who are relegated to that distance.

in the midst of our festivities, may we never be far from the riotous spirit that birthed us. may our thirst for justice not be slaked until we all are free.

how will you accompany someone today? who has come alongside you – however temporarily – to be an echo of God’s voice to you? what is God saying through them?
