Besides our group of 20 youth and adults at the LCMS Gathering, we also have a young adult who is volunteering her time to serve. It’s a lot of work to host 20,000 participants! Thankful for all those sharing their servant hearts so our youth can have this amazing faith growing opportunity!

Arrived in Slidell LA around 9am. Went to a park, had a devotion and then got out some energy out on the playground. We then went on a swamp adventure and saw a lot of wildlife. Check into the hotel and got a little rest while Pastor and Chris got everyone registered at the convention center. Long wait for dinner at Mother’s Restaurant. After dinner, back to the hotel room debrief and relax! A little teaser for tomorrow- 🎷?!?!!?

Good morning!!! What an adventure it has been! We have been on the bus since 2:30pm yesterday. Two stops at Buc-ee’s. No traffic. Great bus drivers. Little sleep. How do you sleep on a bus? 🤷‍♂️ Check in later for more updates! Here is a clue of what we are going to do next- 🐊 🛶
