“Graceists Book Club” will be meeting at 5:30 on Wednesday, July 1 in the home of Martha Salmon to discuss the book “Tattoos on the Heart” by Gregory Boyle. It is an astonishing book about suffering and dignity, death and resurrection. Whether you have read part of the book, all of the book, or none of it, you are welcome to join Graceists for some spirited conversation and some homemade desserts.

⛪ Father’s Day & 4th Sunday after Pentecost: Who is Counting?

“The greatness of America lies not in being more enlightened than any other nation, but rather in her ability to repair her faults.” — Alexis de Tocqueville

Join us this Sunday, June 21st, at The Jacksboro Parish at 10:45 AM (in the sanctuary or online via Facebook and YouTube) as we celebrate Father’s Day!

We want to take a special moment to honor and thank all of the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our church family. We are so grateful for your strength, guidance, and the love you show us every day.

This week, our scripture is Matthew 10:24–30, and Rev. Jerry Boles will lead our meditation, "Who is Counting?", focusing on the overwhelming care and compassion our Heavenly Father has for each of us.

We look forward to celebrating our dads and worshipping together with the Jacksboro community!

⛪ Third Sunday after Pentecost: What You’ve Been Given?

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” — Pelé

Join us this Sunday, June 14th, at Jacksboro Parish as we gather for the Third Sunday after Pentecost. This week, we will be diving into Matthew 9:35 – 10:8, looking at Jesus' compassion for the crowds and His calling of the disciples to go out and share the gifts they have received.

Rev. Jerry Boles will lead our meditation, "What You’ve Been Given?", as we reflect on our own calling to serve and love others. Worship begins at 10:45 AM in the sanctuary and online via Facebook and YouTube.

We look forward to a morning of praise and trust with the Jacksboro community!

Behind every great Vacation Bible School is an amazing team of volunteers! We are so incredibly grateful for everyone who is helping to make this year's "Road Trip" a success. We truly appreciate your time, your energy, and your heart for our kids.
To help us get everything organized, we are holding a VBS Planning Meeting tomorrow, Monday, June 8th, at 5:30 PM at FUMC.

Whether you’ve already signed up for a specific role or you're just looking to see where you can pitch in and help us map out the week, please come join us! We look forward to seeing you there as we get everything ready to hit the road this July.
