15th Sunday after Pentecost: Let Me Tell You about Them!

Join us this Sunday, September 6th, at The Jacksboro Parish as we gather to celebrate God's abundant goodness and proclaim His great deeds together.

This week, our scripture reading comes from Matthew 18:15–20, guiding us on reconciliation, accountability, and the power of gathering in Christ's name. Rev. Jerry Boles will lead our meditation, "Let Me Tell You about Them!"

Worship begins at 10:45 AM in the sanctuary and online via Facebook and YouTube. We look forward to sharing in worship, prayer, and fellowship with you!

Graceists Book Club will meet in the home of Martha Salmon on Wednesday, Sept, 2 at 5:30. Graceists are reminded to bring your favorite finger food and join them for a spirited conversation regarding their book review of “Gentle and Lowly” by Dane Ortlund. Childcare will be provided at the Parish.

“Men and Meat” will gather in the home of Bob Maddox also on Sept, 2 at 5:30 pm. They too are invited to bring an appetizer as well as a friend and join them for some good food and fellowship.

Special 5th Sunday Combined Worship & Potluck Lunch!

Join us this Sunday, August 30th, as The Jacksboro Parish comes together with Jacksboro First United Methodist Church for a special 5th Sunday Combined Worship Service followed by a potluck lunch!

⚠️ Please note: There will be no Sunday School this week.

We will gather for worship at the Methodist Church, followed by a time of fellowship and a delicious meal. Bring your favorite dish to share and come enjoy a wonderful morning of worship, food, and community.

We can’t wait to see you there!

⛪ 13th Sunday after Pentecost: Knowing and Believing

Join us this Sunday, August 23rd, at The Jacksboro Parish as we gather to sing praises to our God and place our hope in the Maker of heaven and earth.

This week, our scripture reading comes from Matthew 16:13–20, where Peter declares Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God. Rev. Jerry Boles will lead our meditation, "Knowing and Believing," reflecting on who Jesus is to us and what it truly means to confess our faith in Him.

Worship begins at 10:45 AM in the sanctuary and online via Facebook and YouTube. We look forward to worshipping together with you!

Music, fellowship and patriotism will take center stage
on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when Dr. Greg Buenger, better
known as “The Piano Man” performs at the Jacksboro
Parish. He will lead a special program honoring the 25 th
anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the
United States of America.
The evening will begin with a fellowship dinner at 5:30
pm in the Parish fellowship hall. The public is invited to
attend. Bring your favorite dish and join the fellowship
as friends, neighbors and community members gather
together. We hope to see each of you on September 9.
Child care will be provided, making the evening an
opportunity for the entire family to participate.
