Dave Koester met with six students from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School that are contemplating military service. They met for an hour to discuss how to stay connected to WELS while they serve in the military, how to request religious accommodations, and how to stay in contact with the national chaplain Paul Horn and Military Contact Pastors.

Just a reminder that this Sunday (May 24) is St. Mark's
Memorial Day Service at Ashippun Fireman's Park.

The Service starts at the regular time of 8:30 a.m.

All the other services remain the same:
- Thursday evening @ St. Mark's - 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday evening @ St. John's - 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday morning @ St. John's - 10 a.m.

Preparing future generations in faith begins with preparing called workers.

May 15–16, Martin Luther College will hold commencement events celebrating graduates who are ready to serve as teachers and staff ministers throughout WELS, along with students continuing their pastoral training at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.

We give thanks for these graduates and pray God blesses them as they begin lives of service in schools, congregations, and ministries.
