My friend Cesar Ruiz helped my preach this weekend and he did an incredible job. He had some deep spiritual insights that spoke right to my heart. I am so thankful for all of the young people that come and spend Sundays with us when there are so many great churches they could go to.

I apologize to the [3] people waiting to watch the service online. My internet speeds yesterday were dismal. It took 12 hours to upload the service.

I have been in John in my devotional time. I really enjoy John 9. So, I preached on The Man Born Blind. "Who sinned? This man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus said, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned. But God is going to glorify Himself by turning this difficult situation around."

The obstacle becomes the way.

Shortly after being delivered from 400+ years of slavery in Egypt, the Israelites were eating the bread from heaven, given to them directly from their Heavenly Father. But only a few months into that they began to complain, "We miss the 'free fish' we had in Egypt." They had been delivered from slavery in Egypt, but now their hearts turned back and they desired what it was they escaped from. There is a lesson in there to be learned (and I need to learn it more than anyone else).
