LONG, FUNDRAISER POST. PLEASE READ!!
Good morning and Happy September! We are just under a year away from Patrick's first mission trip abroad. August of 2023 will be taking him to Mi Refugio (My Refuge) our children’s home in Peru. You can see more info at the link in the first comment!
Our total goal is $1,500. Although this trip will be a little less than that, there are some first time costs that Patrick will incur that we hope to offset, and any remaining funds will be put toward future mission endeavors both here and abroad. I want to note that on his own, Patrick has saved just over 20% of his goal from his job earnings this summer!
Today, we begin our first fundraiser, which is an adopt a day. It's super simple. You choose any available day listed below and donate that amount. For example 1st=$1, 15th=$15, 30th=$30.
Questions...
*Can I adopt more than one day? YES! You can choose as many days as you feel led by the Lord to choose.
*Can I just make a donation without choosing a day? Of course! Any donations are appreciated, and receipts can be made available upon request for tax purposes.
*I can't donate at this time, what can I do? PRAY. PRAY. PRAY. Pray for this team going, pray for their travel safety, pray for the ones they come in contact with, pray that in the right moments, God gives them the right words to plant the right seeds for his glory! Prayers man so much to missions and are worth far more than any financial support!

It's mid week at Fort Bluff, here are a few pictures I've managed to "find". Patrick is only messaging us late in the evening and really just to say "Im alive, love you, goodnight" lol
Of the many pictures I've looked through it looks as they've had some wonderful services and some great team building activities, but I'm sure they just think they're having fun! Still praying that those who haven't given their life to Jesus will have their hearts open to His will while they're there. Thank you for your prayers for not only our GBT group, but all the teens at Fort Bluff this week!

Tomorrow morning, the teens from Gethsemane Baptist Temple will be going to youth camp at Fort Bluff in Dayton, Tenn. Pease keep us on your prayers as we travel, and pray that whatever Gods will for us while we're there, that our eyes and hearts be pen to His Word!
