But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Melissa never got a room last night so they put her in a better bed and she remained in recovery where she still is. The doctors have said that if her oxygen remains steady she will most likely be discharged this afternoon.

Psalm 118:24 KJV β€” This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

So thankful for Brother Jerry George preaching for us tomorrow! Come here the man of God!
Tomorrow many people will gather and hear a man preach for 30-45 minutes about a subject near to his heart. He will teach you in a few short minutes what has taken him a lifetime to experience. Behind his words will be tears, sweat, and at times heartache. He invested hours of prayer so you could hear moments of truth. Be sure to thank him. He stands guard to fight the wolves. He rises from sleep with you on his mind. He prays for your children, your loved ones, your home. He is more than just a pastor. He is your Preacher. Remember someone, somewhere needs somebody like him and God gave him to you!

Update: Melissa Evans is doing much better this morning. Please pray that things will keep moving without the medication and that her healing process will continue so that she won’t have to have another surgery! πŸ™πŸ»

Update on Melissa Evans:

Her colon is paralyzed. They have started administering a potent drug that will shock the intestines into working but it has serious side effects to the heart so they will take up to 12 hrs to administer to minimize damage.

Please pray that they can get this under control and her pain will subside.

Melissa is being admitted to UAB and the doctors will concentrate on pain management and monitor the intestinal issue . At this point they say that the intestines are not protruding or between the broken ribs. This could possibly mean that they may not have to do an intrusive surgery and may be able to fix it in another way!πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ
