As a result of much prayer, baby Paisley is going home with a feeding tube. Her digestive organs are all ok, they just need to grow and mature. She is still in need of prayer. Thanks for all the prayers so far.

We have a special prayer request that needs urgent prayer.

* Paisley Kay - A week old baby, she is the grand baby of a friend of Bro. Ken's daughter. She is currently not able to hold milk down and her temperature and heart rate keep dropping. Pray for healing.

Also, please remember to pray for those people identified on our weekly prayer request list.

Hebrews 4:16: "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."

Mt. Gilead will be hosting the 5th Sunday Fellowship on 29 Mar. In addition to good food, singing, special music, and good fellowship we will present the Mt. Gilead MBC Bible Challenge. We will also have a presentation from Bethel MBC about the ABA Mission work in Iligan City, Philippines. Come ready to worship, learn, and simply receive a blessing from this time of fellowship.

I know everyone is trying to get back to their normal routine since much of the power has been restored. A good place to begin is by being in church tomorrow. Continue praying for our first responders and power workers.

Since power has been restored, there will be a Bible study tonight at the church. And, we will resume Sunday School and Worship Service on 8 Feb. We are looking forward to the worship and fellowship.

Church services are cancelled for tomorrow, 1 Feb. Before the storm, Bro. Keith said he could preach this Sunday since I am still recovering from surgery, however, still not having power makes that impossible. The way restoral of power is going, we are canceling the 4 Feb Bible Study as well. Please take some time on 1 Feb to read a portion of scripture, or a devotion found in the ABA devotional book. Consider 46th Psalm. This Is a Christian warrior's refuge Psalm. it sets forth God's power, presence, and peace, even in times of storms, turmoil, and battles of life. Praying for each and every one of you.

Due to current and overnight weather conditions, Sunday School and Worship services are cancelled for 25 January 2026 at Mount Gilead MBC. Everyone is encouraged to have a time of devotion and praise to honor the day as the Lord's Day. I pray everyone stays safe and worm.

We are excited to begin a new study for Wednesday night. The study will be in the book of Galations, and is titled "Living a Life of Freedom."

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

20 Aug. Bible Study... We will continue lesson 7 of; Why The King James Version is the Perfect Word of God. This will be the last lesson in this series.

The main points in this lesson are:
1. Was Jesus God in the flesh or not?
2. Is Jesus God's Son or only a servant?
3. One Greek letter can change the gospel.
4. How Important is God's word in your life?
5. How and when the Lord Jesus Christ was both God and man.
6. How do we know that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are One?
7. KJV language and a couple other examples of changes in modern versions.

In tonight's Bible Study we will learn God's purpose for giving us His word, and look at a couple scriptures where His word has been corrupted by modern versions. Hope to see you there.

We will continue our study on the King James version of the Bible tonight by answering the question, Do The Dead Sea Scrolls Make the KJV Out of Date? If time permits we will see how the KJV vocabulary is actually very familiar.
