We are the active center of Jewish life in downtown Ithaca! Welcoming, inclusive, and LGBTQ+ friendly All are welcome to attend services and programs.

The synagogue is affiliated with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Temple Beth-El welcomes Jews from all backgrounds, persons of any culture, race, ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation, and individuals of other faiths interested in exploring Jewish traditions.

Come learn with Rav Caleb’s teacher Rav Shlomo Zacharow! He’ll be in Ithaca for Shabbat before they both head to a conference on shechita (kosher slaughter). He is a brilliant and inspiring person who is a pioneer in the world of egalitarian shechita. Come to shul on June 12th and 13th!
