The Fierce Urgency of Now: An Interfaith Solidarity Gathering
In this fraught moment in our national life, faith communities are being called to show up with honesty, humility and resolve. Remembering Minneapolis and the many places marked by state violence, we gather across religious traditions to prayer, reflect, and listen together. This interfaith gathering invites participants into a shared space of grief, hope and commitment to justice - trusting that our differences are not obstacles but gifts for the work ahead.

🌈 Walk with FBCDC at World Pride 2025 🌈

On Saturday, June 7, we’re joining churches across the DC metro area as part of the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists (AWAB) to walk in the World Pride Parade.

We’ll be a visible witness to God’s radical love, inclusive welcome, and public joy—and we’d love for you to walk with us.

🕐 Parade begins at 1 PM (walking time ~2 hours)

April 13th - Palm Sunday Worship
April 17th - Maundy Thursday service & supper at 6 pm
April 18th - Good Friday: Tenebrae service at 7 pm
April 20th - Easter Sunday Worship followed by brunch and Easter Egg Hunt for children up to age 12.
