Being on mission in Ithaca means embracing the incredible opportunity to develop faith in the next generation of young adults. On Wednesday evening Pastor Sean gave a talk to 60 Ithaca College students about embracing their identity in Christ.

God is up to something amazing with these future leaders, and we're grateful that Hillside gets to play its part.

Jesus meets you right where you are.

Matthew 7:7-8 reminds us to ask, seek, and knock. We don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to Jesus. We don’t have to clean ourselves up first or wait until life feels perfect.

Come to Him as you are. Ask. Seek. Knock. He is near, He is listening, and He meets us right here.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7-8

What a great Sunday together! Today we continued our “Summer on the Mount” series in Matthew 7, looking at Jesus’ teaching on judgment, self-awareness, and the speck and the plank.

Before we’re quick to point out what needs to change in someone else, Jesus challenges us to first look within our own hearts.

We’re super grateful for another morning of worship, growing together in God’s Word, and some wonderful fellowship afterward! :)
