Rahab is one of my most favorite women in the bible. People look at the outside and consider them useless. God looks at the inside and knows they are worthy and useful.
She was once known by a label that marked her past.
In Joshua, she is called “Rahab the prostitute,” a name that reflected her former life and reputation in the eyes of man.
But in Matthew, that label is gone. She is simply Rahab—found in the lineage of Jesus Christ.
That is what God does.
He does not deny your past, but He refuses to let it define your future. He steps into broken stories and rewrites them with mercy, redemption, and purpose.
What the world uses to define you, God can transform into a testimony.
What was once shame becomes part of a legacy.
And what looked like disqualification becomes evidence of grace.
God doesn’t just change labels—He restores identity, rebuilds stories, and turns lives once written off into vessels of His glory. 🤍🙏🏻
