Greetings,
I am pleased to serve as pastor to the people of Watts Chapel Methodist Church and the First Methodist Church of Itasca. I look forward to meeting the people of our congregations and serving with the love of Christ in our communities.
Here are a few things about myself. I live in Mansfield with my wife (Cathy), son, (Wesley), daughter (Lilly), and my mother in-law (Judy Coots). We have a dachshund named Toby. I have a deep fondness for books, food, and Star Wars. In addition to my responsibilities as pastor, I also work as a substitute teacher in the Crowley, Everman, and Venus ISDs. I began serving as a pastor in February 2007 in Irving, Texas before serving congregations in Kansas. Cathy has been in nursing since 1999 and currently serves as a hospice nurse. My family moved back to Texas in July 2025 to be closer to family, and God has provided for us throughout that journey.
In addition to Sunday worship services, I intend to spend a day in the Watts Chapel area and a day in Itasca each week. I am making my rounds visiting the people of our congregations, and may soon be calling you.
