It’s easy to let fear of what people think shape what we say, what we do, and even how we live.

But Proverbs 29:25 reminds us that the fear of man is a trap — and trust in the Lord is the way to safety.

Today, don’t build your life around approval.

Build your life on trust.

“Whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.”

Solomon’s story doesn’t fall apart in the way we might expect.

It doesn’t start with a scandal.
It doesn’t start with open rebellion.
It doesn’t start with him waking up one day and deciding to walk away from God.
It starts much smaller than that.

A misplaced love.
An ignored warning.
A slow turn of the heart.

And before long, the man who once loved the Lord is drifting further than he ever imagined.

That’s what makes 1 Kings 11 so sobering for us.
Because if Solomon could drift, so can we.
And it may be easier than we think.

Some weeks leave us with more questions than answers.

But David reminds us that faith doesn’t mean we only trust God when life is easy. We trust Him when the sun is shining. And when the storms rage around us.

Our circumstances may change, but God doesn’t.

So today, we can say with David:
“Lord, I trust You.”

Not just when life makes sense.
Not just when things are calm.
But at ALL times.

Some days life is just hard.

But Psalm 62:8 doesn't say try harder.
It doesn't say figure it out.

It says :
Trust.
Pour out.
He's your refuge.

That's it.

Quick question:

What’s the first thing you do when life feels out of control?

Panic?
Withdraw?
Try harder?
Distract yourself?

Scripture keeps reminding us of a better response:
Bring it to God.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30am as we bring our prayer & praise to God.

Facing a decision and not sure what to do?

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Go to God.

The same God who gave Solomon wisdom still invites His people to ask for wisdom today.

James 1:5 reminds us that God gives generously to those who ask.

So before you panic, rush, or try to carry it all yourself—pray.

Ask God for wisdom.

You don’t have to have your life all together to walk through the doors of a church.

You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to know everything about the Bible.
You don’t have to pretend.

There’s a place for you here.

Join us this Sunday!

We’d love to see you.

When we sin, we can't fix it ourself. It doesn't matter how hard we try. But God can.

And when He does, He makes you completely clean! 🙌
