Dear Friends of the New Caile Cemetery Association:
As required by our bylaws, the annual meeting of the New Caile Cemetery Association is scheduled for Monday, March 17, 2025 at 6:00 pm in the Caile Annex. All friends and family members of the Caile Cemetery are invited to attend.
As many of you know, we have tried to maintain the Caile Cemetery in a fashion that is respectful to those family members who have gone before us. Although the original church building no longer remains, we utilize the annex to provide a place for family members to gather and refresh during their difficult times. Through conservative measures, we have continued to keep the cemetery cut and edged throughout the year, but we are now facing repair issues on the building. The mineral board siding has aged and cracked allowing water to enter the building and collect on the floor. We were forced to replace the siding up to the bottom of the windows to try and eliminate the problem and replace rotten woodwork around the windows.
Please know that we, as the association board, are working diligently to care for the final resting place of loved ones that have been entrusted to our care. We do appreciate your kind words of support, and we also appreciate your continued support of the efforts that are made to maintain the cemetery. Since everything in the economy has taken a huge increase, we appreciate your contributions that have been made to help cover the expenses.
Thank you again from all of us on the board for your support and contributions given to cover the expenses since our cemetery operates primarily on donations due to the low interest returns on our CD’s.
