Join the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and Diocese of Rockville Centre in prayer as our nation marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

From June 3 to 11, Catholics around the country are invited to pray the Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in their homes, parishes, and schools as spiritual preparation for the June 11 consecration of the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The novena draws its daily devotions from the Litany of the Sacred Heart and reflects on the wisdom of saints and pontiffs, framed by Pope Francis’ "Dilexit Nos" and Pope Leo XIV’s "Dilexi Te". Each day offers opportunities for prayer, reflection, and action, inviting us to contemplate Christ’s love through themes such as mercy, justice, and humility.
