VBS Illumination Station đź’ˇ

DeepWater Kids got to learn ALL about Jesus being the light of the world!! He is the only true light that can save and heal others. We had SO much fun learning in fun and creative ways that Jesus is the light of the world and we should share that light everywhere we go!

Dominican Republic Mission Trip June 2026

DeepWater Church sent out a team of 13 people willing to be the hands and feet of Jesus to spread the gospel and serve the people in our 'Food for the Hungry' partner village Los Botados.

The hand of God was evident as our team served the community in prayer and boldness. We helped paint the local church, hosted a VBS for children, had a marriage enrichment night with Pastor Paul and his wife Jessica, did home visits to many of sponsor children and other families, had a special youth night with our intern Emily bringing the message, and we worshipped together with the local believers on Sunday Morning.

The seeds of the Gospel were planted and we were amazed to see the Holy Spirit move in a truly miraculous way at our Youth Night and blessed to see many give their lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Thank you to all who came along side us to pray and financially support this team and our mission to 'Love the Islands and Beyond'!!

Sunday, July 19th was a day of rejoicing and celebrating Beach Baptisms with our Faith Family and with City Life Charleston.

It was a blessing to witness many take their next step of faith through baptism - a public declaration of an inward transformation & a beautiful picture of leaving behind the old life and being raised to new life in Christ.

To all who were baptized we are celebrating with you and praying for you as you continue to follow Him!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!" - 2 Corin. 5:17

*Important - 4 Summer Sundays Indoors (& off of the beach)
July 26, August 2,9,16 - we will worship at IOP Baptist Church at 9:15am - each summer during the hottest time we venture indoors. We have loved worshipping on the beach since Easter (3.5 months!) AND we will go back to the beach August 23 through early November.

Please join us, whether outdoors or indoors, God is worthy of our worship!

Kingdom Sunday Service - THIS SUNDAY, July 19 @ 9:15a - 25th Avenue Beach, Isle of Palms

We are excited to welcome this Sunday to beach church, City Life Charleston from Mt. Pleasant. City Life is a church that we see as partners in Gospel & Kingdom work in our city. Our pastor, elders, staff and church family enjoys partnering with other church’s for the glory of God and the good of our city.

Make plans to be early and to welcome brothers and sisters to the beach. Also, there will be baptisms at the end of service - what an opportunity to celebrate together the life-changing work of the Gospel!

Note: parking may be a little more difficult, but it’s always free on Palm Blvd or at IOP Baptist Church.
