PCNJ pioneered the Lord's work among the Indian community in Central New Jersey. »Our Past
Pentecostal Church of New Jersey (PCNJ) has been serving the Central New Jersey area since 1988. PCNJ pioneered the Lord's work among the Indian community in Central New Jersey and our aim has always been to spread the gospel among the unreached.
»Our Present/Passion:
We have spirit filled worship, inspirin
g messages and fervent prayer for the needy. Our ministry is centered on the word of GOD and the foundation of our church is to glorify GOD in all that we do! The gospel is our only message; the truth our only commodity. We meet for the purpose of worshipping God, edifying and strengthening ourselves, and helping others come to a better knowledge of Christ. It is our desire to exalt Christ (Col. 1:18) by upholding His word as the only true and living way (John 14:6). We exist to serve a world of people who are lost and dying in sin and show them the love of Christ! PCNJ is a place to be served, and it is also a place to reach out and serve others--within the church and in the community (Matthew 28:19-20).
»Our Future:
As a body of believers we are striving to serve God to the best of our ability and live according to His will. Our goal is to be pleasing to Him in our lives now, and to live eternally with Him in heaven hereafter.
»What we believe in:
1) ONE God revealed in the Bible as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
2) The Holy Bible consisting of 66 books, inerrant as originally given, under the divine inspiration from God.
3) The Person and Work of Christ for Salvation.
4) Believer's baptism and the Lord's Table as ordinances to the Church. We also believe in baptism by the Holy Spirit for every believer.
5) Sanctification is an act of being separated from that which is evil and of dedication unto God.
6) Edification of the church and spreading the gospel.
7) Divine healing.
8) Blessed hope of the coming of the Lord Jesus and His millennial reign.
9) The Final Judgment.
10) New Heaven and the New Earth
We trust in the Bible as the final authority, and take a firm stand on the fundamentals of the faith--salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, the inerrancy and reliability of the Bible as the only rule for faith and practice, the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, and a sense of responsibility in carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)
