🔥 POURED INTO. CHALLENGED. REFRESHED. READY TO GO. 🔥

Some of our CCW leaders had the opportunity to spend a few days in Jacksonville at The Church of Eleven22 for the Church Leaders Summit. We worshipped, sat under the preaching of God’s Word, and were reminded what faithful, gospel-centered leadership looks like.

Pastor Joby kicked us off with what it looks like for shepherds to be great in God’s Kingdom: sit at the feet of Jesus, endure pain, submit to spiritual authority, and serve.

Matt Chandler reminded us: Remember the gospel personally before you preach it publicly.

Tuesday was FULL! 🙌 Ryan Britt walked us through 3 John, contrasting the self-exalting leader with the leader shaped by Truth. Jason Britt challenged us to examine our homes—are we "killing it" at church while neglecting our first ministry--our family?

Jim Burgen modeled real, raw authenticity, reminding us that we can’t expect to preach resurrection if we haven’t experienced the crucifixion that comes before it. Dr. Crawford Loritts closed the day with 7 Lessons and 7 Guardrails of Faithfulness.

Wednesday, Jennie Allen called us back to the heart of the Gospel-- to REPENT AND BELIEVE—AGAIN AND AGAIN!

Then Pastor Joby commissioned us to GO! Find the broken. The hurting. Those trapped in their own mess—even if they made it—and introduce them to the REAL JESUS who died on a REAL CROSS to save REAL PEOPLE just like us! 🙌

Between sessions, we attended ministry labs and learned practical things to bring back to CCW.

We worshipped. We learned. We were challenged. And most importantly, we were continually pointed back to JESUS.

Now we’re home and ready to take more ground for King Jesus! 👑

CCW, there are broken and hurting people all around us that need the HOPE of the Gospel--we hope you’ll join us, as we GO! The BEST is YET to COME!❤️‍🔥

🎉 We’re Growing! Welcome to Our Team! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Connection Church Wilco has welcomed new team members to help us carry out the mission God has given our church here in Wilkinson County!

Please join us in welcoming Brandon and Tiffany Smith, who officially joined our staff on August 1st!

Brandon will be serving as our Student Pastor, while Tiffany will be serving alongside him with our students and as our Worship & Production Coordinator.

Brandon and Tiffany have been married for 13 years and have one daughter, Autumn (11). They currently reside in Toomsboro and have called Wilkinson County home for nearly their entire lives. They previously served together at Dublin Bible Church for almost 10 years. In the fall of 2025, they sensed the Lord calling them back home to Wilkinson County and officially became part of the Connection Church Wilco family in January 2026.

Brandon serves as the Manager of the Dublin Branch of Sidney Lee Welding Supply. Throughout his ministry, he has faithfully served in Children’s Ministry, Guest Services, and as a Community Group Leader. He has a genuine passion for helping people feel welcomed and reminding them that they belong in Christ.

Tiffany is a high school teacher at Trinity Christian School and holds a degree in Ministry Leadership and Biblical Studies from Toccoa Falls College. Her ministry experience includes Worship & Production, Children’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry, and Community Group Leadership. She has a deep passion for worship and desires to keep Christ at the center of everything we do.

Together, Brandon and Tiffany are passionate about investing in the next generation and helping students grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus. We are incredibly grateful for how God has brought them to our church and can’t wait to see how He uses them in this new season.

Please help us give Brandon, Tiffany, and Autumn a warm Connection Church Wilco welcome! We are so thankful you’re here! 💙

We are beginning our NEW SERIES this Sunday (July 12th @ 10am) entitled, “Church Gone Wild”, which means we have a NEW Bible Reading Plan!!

We believe that every disciple of Jesus needs some “It is Writtens” in their life, so they have an arsenal ready for the enemy—just like Jesus! 1 Corinthians is FULL of them. If you follow the reading plan below, you will have read through the entire book of 1 Corinthians FIVE TIMES by the time we complete the series. We KNOW The Word is ALIVE and ACTIVE and can’t wait to see it ALIVE and ACTIVE in YOU!!

We have cards printed to put in your bibles that you can pick up at the church, or you can save the picture below.

We hope you and your family are having a restful sabbatical this week. When we return THIS SUNDAY (July 12th @ 10am), we will begin a BRAND-NEW series entitled, “Church Gone Wild”!

We are excited for what the Lord has in store for us and can’t wait to see what He does in us and through us during this upcoming series. Together, we’ll be walking verse by verse through the book of 1 Corinthians, exploring what happens when the church takes its eyes off Jesus—and how God calls us back to the Gospel, to unity, holiness, and His mission. Along the way, we’ll be reminded of who we are, why we’re here, and what our purpose is as the Church.

We hope to see you THIS SUNDAY at 10am!! Also, be on the lookout for the upcoming reading plan to go along with this series.
