Once a month, on the first early out Wednesday of the IKM-Manning School district, the Lied Irwin Public Library will be putting on a Movie Day!

However, it will be more than just a movie! Each movie will have a book that we read beforehand. There will also be themed snacks and activities to go along with the movie as well.

Public school kids have to contact the school in order to ride the bus to the library.
This is not just for public school kids; home school kids are welcome too!

Kids must be picked up by 5pm!

September is here! School is back in session, fans are filling up the bleachers for Friday night football, and all things pumpkin flavored are making their seasonal debut.

Here is the library's September calendar!

We have a new after school program this year. The first early out of each month will be a Movie Day at the Lied Irwin Public Library. All ages are welcome to attend! The school MUST know if your child will be riding the bus to the library. Kids will need to be picked up by 5pm.

We also have a new adult program the second Thursday of the month at 10am. Jacklynn, with League of Human Dignity, will be at the library to offer assistance and help to those who are struggling with anything from housing, mental health, employment, and even disabilities.

Irwin is having city wide garage sales on Sept. 18th and 19th and the library is on the map! We will be having a book sale at the library. Not only will there be books, but also games, DVDs, and puzzles.
