🔥 Sunday Recap | “A Generational War”
On Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Justin reminded us that some battles are bigger than a moment. They’re spiritual wars that can impact generations.
As we celebrated the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we were challenged to fully surrender every area of our lives to God and stop making peace with the things He has called us to crucify.
Amalek represented opposition to God’s covenant purposes, and the same spirit still fights today through compromise, pride, bitterness, lust, hidden sin, and rebellion.
“What you spare today may fight your children tomorrow.”
We were reminded that partial obedience is still disobedience. The flesh never stays small, and compromise never stays contained.
Pastor challenged us to:
✅ Identify your Amalek
✅ Stop making peace with sin
✅ Surround yourself with people who strengthen your hands
✅ Remember Jesus already won the victory
The good news? Jesus finished what Saul couldn’t. Through Him, we are not enslaved to the flesh, and generational cycles can be broken.
What a powerful Pentecost Sunday filled with conviction, surrender, and an incredible altar response. 🙌🔥
