What a great night at Midweek Equip Night! 🙌

From Bible studies and small groups to Forward Students and Forward Kids, it was another evening of growing together in God’s Word and building meaningful connections.

We were especially blessed by Pastor Justin’s continued study through the book of Revelation, helping us better understand God’s plan.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the most of their midweek reset. 💛

If you missed it, we’d love to see you next Wednesday at 6:30 PM!

🙌Save the Date📣

Father’s Day June 21
Join us on Father’s Day, June 21, as we take time to honor and celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who make a difference in our lives. We are thankful for the men who lead, serve, encourage, and point their families toward Christ. We invite you to bring our family and join us for a special day of worship as we celebrate the impact of godly men in our church and community.

Worship University June 25-28
Worship University is just one week away! We’re excited to welcome students for four days of worship, leadership development, hands-on training, and community. Whether they sing, play an instrument, serve in media, or production, or simply want to grow in their calling, Worship University is designed to help the next generation discover how God can use their gifts to serve the Church. Registration is still open, but spots are limited.

SERVE Day, June 27
SERVE Day is coming up on June 27! This is a special opportunity for our church family to put our faith into action by serving our community together. We’ll begin the morning with breakfast and fellowship before heading out to complete service projects throughout the area. Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or looking for a simple way to get involved, SERVE Day is a great chance to make a difference, build relationships, and show the love of Christ in practical ways.

Africa Missions Trip July 12-23
Our South Africa Missions Trip is less than a month away, and our team is eagerly preparing for this opportunity to share the love of Christ and support the incredible work God is doing through our ministry partners. We’re grateful for everyone who has prayed, given, and encouraged our team throughout this journey. Fish plate meals supporting the mission trip will be available for pickup this Wednesday. Thank you for helping make this mission possible and for partnering with us as we take the Gospel beyond our local community and around the world.

🏆💚 What an incredible day at Forward Church as we celebrated everything God did through Mega Sports Camp!

We laughed, handed out awards, spun the Wheel of Doom… and yes, the slime happened!

Mrs. Bobbie Jo was slimed during 1st service, and Mr. Michael and Aubree got slimed during 2nd service!

Pastor Jennifer, Mrs. Sara, and Mrs. Caitlyn also received Wheel of Doom punishments because our Kids Min team CRUSHED their goal! 🙌🏼

Here are some huge wins from Celebration Sunday:
👏 76 amazing volunteers
🏡 2 new families
❤️ 20 decisions for Christ

TWENTY additional people gave their hearts to Jesus on top of the TWENTY kids at camp! That is the greatest win of all!! 🙌🏼

We are so proud of our Kids Min team and every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and love to make this week unforgettable. You created a fun, safe place where kids didn’t just play sports, they encountered Jesus!

Pastor Justin’s message on FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) reminded us of something powerful:

The greatest things in life are often not the things the world celebrates.

Trophies fade.
Awards collect dust.
But a relationship with Jesus changes everything.

Our greatest fear shouldn’t be missing out on what the world offers…

It should be missing out on what matters most—Jesus! ❤️

What a week! What a Sunday! What a God we serve!

We spend so much time worrying about what we might miss. But what if we’re afraid of missing the wrong things?

Mega Sports Camp Celebration Sunday was one for the books! 🏆💚

We celebrated an incredible week of camp with awards, LOTS of slime, and the Wheel of Doom punishment (yes… it happened 😅). Mrs. Bobbie Jo was slimed during 1st service, and Mr. Michael and Aubree were slimed during 2nd service.

Pastor Jennifer, Mrs. Sara, and Mrs. Caitlyn ALL received the Wheel of Doom punishment! Congratulations, Kids Min team—you reached your goal!! 🙌🏼

Most importantly, we’re celebrating that 20 children gave their hearts to Christ during Mega Sports Camp this week, with even more decisions made today and final numbers still coming in! There is no greater win than changed lives!! ❤️

Pastor Justin also shared a powerful reminder on FOMO—not the fear of missing out on what the world offers, but the fear of missing out on what matters most: a relationship with Jesus.

Full recap coming tomorrow! 👏

🏅⚽ 📣 Mega Sports Camp Night 4 Recap! 🏐🏈

What an amazing final night of Mega Sports Camp! We wrapped up an incredible week of fun, teamwork, and growing together in faith. Our athletes gave it their all and finished strong!

Tonight’s Big Idea was: Jesus shows us how to lead others.
We explored the story of Jesus giving His final instructions to His disciples after His resurrection in Matthew 28:16–20. In this powerful moment, Jesus gave the disciples the Great Commission, commanding them to go, make disciples, baptize, and teach others to follow Him. He also gave them an incredible promise: He would always be with them!

Just like team captains and great coaches help guide their team, we learned that true leadership starts with following Jesus. When we lead with love, serve others, and point people to Him, we can make a lasting impact both on and off the field/court.

And of course, we can’t forget one of the most hilarious moments of the night—the Wheel of Unfortune! 😂 Pastor Jennifer landed on the Pickled Punishment and bravely endured pickles and pickle juice being poured all over her! Meanwhile, Mrs. Sara faced the dreaded Balloons of Doom, where each balloon held a surprise—some empty, while others were filled with pickle juice, chocolate syrup, or coffee creamer. Much to Mrs. Sara’s horror (especially with her strong dislike of pickles!), the suspense had everyone laughing and cheering!

Thank you to all our volunteers, coaches, and families for making Mega Sports Camp such an unforgettable week! We pray every athlete leaves encouraged, strengthened, and ready to live out their faith boldly!

We’ll see everyone this Sunday for a Mega Celebration Service & Awards at 8:30 AM / 10:30 AM, where our campers will receive awards and medals! 🏅

And one final question remains… WHO WILL BE SLIMED? 🩷💚
Will it be Mr. Michael with Team Boys or Mrs. Bobbie Jo with Team Girls?! 👀
