New Perspective believes that God is taking the Church through a second reformation restoring grace and the identity of the believer just like He did in 1517 during the first reformation. In 1517 people believed God was mad at them and the world. 500 years later, many believe again that God is angry and vengeful. As a result, we believe that God is once again restoring what the Church has forgotte

n: 1) Who the believer is in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21) - every believer becomes the righteousness of God at salvation. 2) Grace (John 8:10-11, Galatians 3:13) - we are under grace and not under the curse of the law. This is why He did not allow the woman caught in adultery to be stoned even though by law she should have been stoned. Jesus satisfied God’s wrath on the cross and became a curse for the world. 3) Disciple-making. THIS is Reformation 2.0!
