ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians

ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians ECO is a Presbyterian denomination that exists to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ. The name ECO is not an acronym.

Our mission is to build flourishing churches that make disciples of Jesus Christ. It reinforces our passion for strengthening the ecosystems of local churches. We believe the church is a living organism that needs life-giving resources to help it grow, thrive, and multiply. ECO is committed to cultivating a healthy, diverse, resource-rich ecosystem where pastors and congregations can flourish.

From May 12th to 15th we hosted the Spring 2026 Retreat Intensive # 2 at ECO's national office. This group of ten candidates and twelve assessors/SFG leaders was a special group and we are always in awe of the connections that the Holy Spirit makes during these retreats. A few things we will remember from this retreat specifically: the warm weather in Dallas, the connections made in the Spiritual Formation Groups, the vulnerability of the candidates and assessors, and of course, our Bald Boys (if you know you know! Check out the group photo.). Thank you for praying for these candidates as they near the completion of their ordination journeys!
