Yesterday morning, our staff and volunteers at The Table- Irving delivered 600 door hangers about our services at the Southeast Irving Community Center. One issue we have found in our work with low-income neighbors is that they often don’t realize the resources available to help them. Not everyone pays attention to social media, and we want to ensure that every person and family within a mile and a half radius of our community center know of the services we’re offering to them and their family. That’s part of what we do.
We also ask the public for donations to help make sure that we have enough food items in our pantry, and clothing in our clothing closet to help folks when they come to us. If you’re willing to donate any items on the list, we would greatly appreciate your help. You can drop them off at the Southeast Irving Community Center, 1712 Carl Rd. Irving 75061, anytime Tuesday through Saturday between 9 AM and 12 noon.
If these times don’t work for you or if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call us at the center at 972-399-9277, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Together, we are making a difference. Thank you.

This Friday, Sept. 4 from 5-8pm is another great night at Joe’s Coffee Shop 425 W Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060 and if you haven't been to a First Friday Dinner lately you don't know what you've been missing! Eat some great food, play some bingo for great prizes, make a few new friends and have a good time doing it! We've got chicken fried steak, sandwiches, breakfast and more! Just over three years ago, The Table–Irving began with a group of friends and a simple belief: relationships can change lives.

Since then, we’ve helped more than 150 people experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity move into stable housing. We’ve connected neighbors with counseling and mental health support, provided food to hundreds of families through our Emergency Food Pantry and Community Garden, helped more than 50 families this year through Mary’s Closet, and connected people with answers to difficult legal challenges through our Legal Aid Center.

But we don’t do it alone. More than 30 churches, businesses, and organizations—along with hundreds of volunteers—have joined us in this work. And there is still so much more to do.

The Table–Irving would like to offer free financial coaching for our newly housed neighbors and others in Southeast Irving who want to build greater financial stability.

What we would like to offer is a practical four-week course thst will cover the basics—banking, tracking everyday spending, budgeting, and making confident financial decisions.

We’re looking for caring volunteers who believe that sometimes people don’t need a handout—they need someone willing to walk alongside them as they build a better life.

Join us in changing lives through North Texas Giving Day by supporting The Table-Irving, an innovative faith community dedicated to building relationships that transform lives. We understand the power of relationships and how they can help individuals overcome challenging barriers, including something as basic as access to food.
Located at our Southeast Irving Community Center, our Emergency Food Pantry has already assisted over 70 families this year, while our Community Garden has distributed nearly 6,000 vegetables since April. Helping families put food on their tables is but one of the things we do to help individuals and families at The Table- Irving. The Table–Irving is an innovative faith community built on a simple belief: relationships change lives. We meet people where they are and walk alongside them as they overcome barriers and move toward a better tomorrow. Last fall, we asked our Southeast Irving neighbors what our community needed most. A quality clothing closet in our neighborhood was one of their top answers. So we listened—and in May, Mary’s Closet had its grand opening.

In just four months, Mary’s Closet has served more than 50 families and individuals. In partnership with Oak Haven United Methodist Church, we provide gently used clothing and shoes for all ages, household items, and soon, school uniforms. It’s one more way The Table is responding to real needs thru practical help and caring relationships.

The Table–Irving is an innovative faith community built on a simple belief: relationships change lives. We meet people where they are—especially neighbors facing poverty, homelessness, addiction, isolation, and other challenges—and walk alongside them as they overcome the roadblocks standing between where they are today and a better tomorrow.

Collaboration is part of our DNA. We partner with community organizations, churches, businesses, volunteers, and neighbors because lasting change happens when we work together. We believe we can accomplish far more together than any of us can accomplish alone.
