Bahá’ís of Irving in Service to Our Community

This past Saturday, members of the Bahá’í community of Irving, including our children and youth, joined the Interfaith Alliance of Irving service project at the Irving Schools Foundation warehouse.

It was wonderful to see different generations working side by side, organizing the warehouse and contributing their time and energy in service to our community.

We are grateful to the Irving Schools Foundation for giving us this opportunity to serve, and to everyone who participated. A beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from serving together and contributing to the betterment of our community. 💚

Yesterday, we gathered with family and friends to say goodbye to our dear friend, Mrs. Shohreh Missaghian who was a long time member of the Bahai's of Irving community.

Mrs. Shohreh was a gifted Bahá’í artist whose life reflected creativity, generosity, and devotion to the Faith. She lovingly shared her artistic talents in service and generously donated her artwork to our community, leaving behind a beautiful legacy that will continue to inspire us for years to come.
We extend our love and prayers to her daughter, Susan Ghalibaf and the entire family. May Mrs. Shohreh's beautiful soul continue its eternal journey in the Abhá Kingdom.

Last evening, the Bahá’ís of Irving gathered for the Feast of Kamál (Perfection), beautifully hosted by our youth. We are deeply grateful to the Kaniappan family for their warm hospitality and for opening their home to our community.

Our consultation centered on A Common Endeavor: Realizing the Promise of America, a timely statement that invites all people to reflect on how we can contribute to building unity, justice, and the common good in our neighborhoods and society.
The conversation was thoughtful, inspiring, and filled with hope.

We are so proud of our talented Irving Bahá'í youth, who shared their beautiful voices at the Feast of Baha'is of Coppell TX this week. 🎶
Their spirit of service, devotion, and love through music was a joy to witness and an inspiration to all in attendance. May they continue to use their talents to uplift hearts and strengthen our communities.

Happy Ridván from the Bahá’ís of Irving!🌹

Today marks the beginning of Riḍván, the holiest festival in the Bahá’í calendar. Over the next twelve days, Bahá’ís around the world celebrate this joyful occasion, known as the “King of Festivals.”
Riḍván commemorates the time in 1863 when Bahá’u’lláh, the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, declared His mission as a Messenger of God in the Garden of Riḍván near Baghdad. The word Riḍván means Paradise, symbolizing a time of spiritual renewal, unity, and hope for all humanity.
During these sacred days, we reflect on themes of peace, oneness, and service, and we come together with family and friends in a spirit of joy and gratitude.
We wish our community and friends a blessed and joyful Ridván! 🌹
