DFC Young Adult Ministry (YAMs)

DFC Young Adult Ministry (YAMs) YAMs is for young adults ages 18-35. Our mission is to, "Make Jesus real to our generation" by sharing the Gospel in a pratical, truthful and loving manner.

The Young Adult Ministry started in the summer of 2010 in Pastor Sonjia Dickerson's office. We've since outgrown the office and now meet regularly at 9:45am on Sundays in the Family Life Center, led by Min.Tim & Sis. Tiffany Mitchell. Our goal is to serve young adults ages 18-35 as we work towards our Mission, "Making Jesus real to our generation." Our core values are derived from 1 Timothy 4:12,

which states,"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."
