The Trinitarian Auxiliary was founded in 2005 for the purpose of providing support to Holy Trinity Seminary and seminarians. Auxiliary members make contributions of time, talent, and treasure giving encouragement and support to the seminary rector, faculty, staff, and seminarians. The Trinitarian Auxiliary sponsors a variety of projects including the “Seminarian Welcome Baskets,” Christmas gift a

nd “Prayer Partners” programs, designed for spiritual and moral support of the seminarians throughout the year. Auxiliary members also assist with the annual Seminarian Welcome Dinner. Annual membership is $35 and covers your membership from July 1 through June 30 .

2021-2023 Auxiliary Officers are June Cooper, President; Charlene Boss, Vice-President/Membership; Tina Beier, Secretary; Mary Camarillo, Treasurer; Marie Baert, Prayer Partners, Bev Kosco, Historian. Very Reverend Vincent Anyama, rector of Holy Trinity Seminary, is the Auxiliary’s Chaplain.

Dozens and dozens and dozens of cookies (over 70 dozen) were served after the seminarians read selections from the old testament that corresponded to beautiful chants and carols sung by the schola. The O antiphons of Advent presented by the seminarians were a sweet treat, as were the cookies presented by the Trinitarian Auxiliary.
Were the young men able to finish the leftovers before the holidays?

After thoughtful shopping, wrapping and setting out gifts, The Trinitarian Auxiliary members joined the seminarians and priests for mass and brunch on St. Nicholas Day. Tables teamed up for a round of Christmas trivia (who knew Christmas tinsel was originally made of genuine silver and there are 96 "la"s in Deck the Halls?) Special gifts were shared with seminarians with winning tickets, but everyone (seminarians and priests) received a gift bags at the end. Yes! Those included the beloved BLACK SOCKS.

The group met afterwards for a brief business meeting and introduction of our newest members.

Welcome and welcome back to our HTS seminarians! Auxiliary members enjoyed mass and brunch with their prayer partners and new propaedeutic men then passed out the gift bags.

What's in the bag? Of course, black socks! (even the formators get the socks). A treat bag for the coming semester, gift cards for the discipleship men and something "alarming" for the new guys.

After brunch the auxiliary discussed membership, new "prayer partner pairings" and many other ways to support the men of HTS.

As always, thanks to everyone that donated to the gift basket fund. Donations are accepted year round as the Trinitarian Auxiliary offers year round support.
