Marcos 12, 35-37
Un día, mientras enseñaba en el templo, Jesús preguntó: “¿Cómo pueden decir los escribas que el Mesías es hijo de David? El mismo David, inspirado por el Espíritu Santo, ha declarado: Dijo el Señor a mi Señor: Siéntate a mi derecha y yo haré de tus enemigos el estrado donde pongas los pies. Si el mismo David lo llama ‘Señor’, ¿cómo puede ser hijo suyo?”

La multitud que lo rodeaba, que era mucha, lo escuchaba con agrado.

As Jesus was teaching in the temple area he said,
“How do the scribes claim that the Christ is the son of David?
David himself, inspired by the Holy Spirit, said:
The Lord said to my lord,
‘Sit at my right hand
until I place your enemies under your feet.’
David himself calls him ‘lord’;
so how is he his son?”
The great crowd heard this with delight.

The Catholic Charities Mobile Food Pantry will be at St. Luke tomorrow Saturday, June 6th. This is a drive-thru event and will begin at 9AM until they run out of food.

La despensa móvil de alimentos de Caridades Católicas se encuentra en San Lucas mañana Sábado 6 de Junio. Es un evento drive-thru y comienza a las 9AM hasta que se acaba la comida.

ORACIÓN DEL MEDIODÍA

Ando por mi camino, pasajero,
y a veces creo que voy sin compañía,
hasta que siento el paso que me guía,
al compás de mi andar, de otro viajero.

No lo veo, pero está. Si voy ligero,
él apresura el paso; se diría
que quiere ir a mi lado todo el día,
invisible y seguro el compañero.

Al llegar a terreno solitario,
él me presta valor para que siga,
y, si descanso, junto a mí reposa.

Y, cuando hay que subir monte (Calvario
lo llama él), siento en su mano amiga,
que me ayuda, una llaga dolorosa.

Gloria al Padre, y al Hijo, y al Espíritu,
por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
