Who are the balcony people in your life?

The people who cheer you on. Who celebrate your wins like they’re their own. Who breathe life into you and encourage you to keep going.

We all need those people.

And maybe the bigger question is this: Are we being that person for someone else?

One of the greatest gifts God has given the church is people who are willing to stand in our corner and cheer us on. 🤍

Sundays at CHRIST Church. 💛

It’s worship and truth. It’s kids growing up surrounded by people who love Jesus. It’s people who celebrate with you in the good seasons and stand beside you through the hard ones.

It’s community. It’s growing together. It’s knowing you don’t have to do life alone.

And sometimes, yes, it’s students dancing in the middle of worship. 😆

We will never get tired of celebrating this. 💙

There’s something pretty incredible about watching someone publicly say, “I have decided to follow Jesus.”

Baptism is more than a moment in the water. It’s an outward expression of an inward decision and a picture of the new life we have in Christ.

• A decision made.
• An old life left behind.
• A new life beginning.
• A church family celebrating every step of the way.

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that… we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4

We may think we don’t get many opportunities to make a difference, but God puts them in front of us every single day.

Sunday’s message reminded us that some of the best opportunities to show people Jesus happen right in the middle of our ordinary lives.

• Pay attention to the people God puts in your path.
• Choose kindness when you have the chance to show it.
• Be faithful with the opportunities right in front of you.

At work. At school. In the grocery store. In your neighborhood. God can use an ordinary moment to make a difference in someone’s life.
